New Delhi: Virat Kohli showcased his fierce determination following Marnus Labuschagne's dismissal, who had previously put India in a tough spot with a well-made half-century. In a tense moment, Kohli was seen telling the Australian crowd to "shut up" while celebrating the crucial wicket, reaffirming his 'never back down' attitude and quickly becoming a viral sensation for his bold reaction in front of the public.

The Australian crowd had been rallying behind Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head as they forged a crucial 65-run partnership, intensifying the pressure on India. But when Labuschagne was dismissed, a fired-up Virat Kohli responded by telling the Aussie supporters to “shut their mouths,” celebrating the wicket with his usual intensity.

Despite the collective efforts of Mohammed Siraj, Jasprit Bumrah, Harshit Rana, and Nitish Reddy, Marnus Labuschagne and Travis Head continued to reign supreme, giving no space to the Indian bowlers. It was only due to a brilliant catch taken by Yashasvi Jaiswal off Nitish Reddy’s bowling that Labuschagne was finally caught.

Marnus Labuschagne regained his form with a composed fifty, but it was Travis Head’s flamboyant stroke play that stole the spotlight as Australia successfully weathered the Indian pacers to reach 191/4 at tea on day two of the second Test in Adelaide.

Marnus Labuschagne (64), whose spot in the playing XI was questioned before this match due to a prolonged lean patch, notched up his 26th fifty and then unleashed a barrage of boundaries, signaling troubling signs for India.

However, promising all-rounder Reddy ended Labuschagne’s innings, with the batter attempting to guide a delivery through the gully, only for Jaiswal to take a stunning catch.

In just his second Test after a tough debut in Perth, Nathan McSweeney had no answer to one of Bumrah’s brilliant deliveries, which straightened slightly after landing on the perfect length. Stuck on the crease, McSweeney could only get a faint edge while attempting to defend.
